Colloquium in support of the Cuban Five in the city of the parks


Some 300 social leaders and activists from more than 50 countries of all continents have confirmed their participation in the upcoming 6th International Colloquium for the Freedom of the Cuban Five and against Terrorism slated for next November in the city of Holguin.
Delegates from Latin America including the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia will travel to the eastern Cuban city of Holguin to raise their voices for the release of the five Cuban antiterrorist fighters unfairly imprisoned in the US during the colloquium scheduled for November 21-27.
The colloquium will include an interactive internet forum about the current situation of the process held against the Cuban Five. A panel of specialists on the case will be available to answer questions asked by those interested in learning about the five Cuban revolutionaries who have been imprisoned since 1998 in American jails.
a concert for peace and the freedom of the Cuban Five will take place Friday, October 29, in Holguin, as part of the closing activities of the 17th Ibero-American Culture Festival underway in that city. Twenty musical groups will reportedly take part in the concert organized by event’s organizing committee and ICAP.
